NM&A offers two methods for delivering our plan administration service: i) Dial-in or ii) Full Service.
Dial-in Service
With Dial-in service, NM&A dials into the client's claims processing system. This process is simple and efficient. The client sends paper or scanned claims to NM&A for entry into their system or the client can input the claims into their system independently. Once the claims are entered into the system (either by NM&A or the client), NM&A handles all aspects of claim adjudication. This process generates a more efficient and less costly claims processing workflow.
Dial-in service enables NM&A to connect with our clients' processing system for real-time and efficient claims processing. NM&A is able to provide data input for eligibility, PPO re-pricing, and claims processing through a secure network connection.
The following diagram explains the simple Dial-in process:
Full Service
With the Full Service option, clients leverage NM&A's claims processing systems, hardware and claims examiner teams to outsource the entire claims administration process. The transition to the NM&A system is a straightforward process that requires less than 3 weeks to implement.
The implementation process involves the following:
Client sends history and vendor files to NM&A for system conversion

Client scans claims & eligibility forms to us

NM&A administers health plan on our system

NM&A sends funding request to clients on a weekly basis

Client approves funding request

NM&A prints check & EOB and sends them out to client or directly to employer

Monthly, specialized, specific, and aggregate reports will be sent to client

NM&A can also handle customer service and/or any inquiries. NM&A can also provide online eligibility and online claim status to groups.
