Global Operations

NM&A operates in both the U.S. and internationally. While we are able to offer services offshore, NM&A focuses our training facilities, auditing capabilities, and main administration operations in the U.S. Maintaining constant communication among all offices, our U.S. and offshore facilities offer experienced and superior resources.

NM&A's state-of-the-art facility located in Nanjing, China has been operational since 1995 and is staffed 24x7. This operations center, equipped with several hundred workstations and scanning technology, is linked to our U.S. offices via a dedicated high-speed network, with connectivity redundancy guaranteed by AT&T. As one of the more advanced, high-tech operations in China, our Nanjing facility has performed a wide spectrum of information processing related projects for many large U.S. corporations, including Fortune 500 companies, such as GE and Ford Motor Company.

Our China employees are educated, experienced, detail-oriented, and diligent workers. NM&A recognizes the value of having a highly skilled workforce performing plan administration and claims processing functions. Our claims examiners are required to undergo a rigorous 3-month training program at our U.S. locations. We are able to leverage our long-standing relationships with top universities and our strong reputation as an employer in selecting top-quality candidates so we can provide our clients with exceptional claims examiner teams that can ensure high quality work output and fast turnaround.

Sample Workflow

When a TPA client sends claim and eligibility information to NM&A (in the form of paper or scanned images) at the end of their workday, NM&A enters the information into the client's system. Our claims examiner teams adjudicate the claims and provide 24-hour turnaround 90% of the time. High-dollar claims or claims which require accident reports and certain pre-determined procedure codes will be processed by a claims examiner team in our Houston offices.

The work, which is processed throughout the night, will be finished and available for the TPA client to access the next business day. Meanwhile, all client information will be entered into the claims processing system and adjudicated or logged for review by an NM&A claims examiner team. Our staff organizes a conference call with NM&A evening supervisors to review overnight production, as well as any claims logged as exceptions. Our staff dials into the claim processing system and adjudicates the high-dollar or exceptional claims.
